H2kb specific T cells

Functional CD8 T cells have been detected in vivo after SV40 Tag specific-vaccination of bioluminescent S40 Large T expression in mice (Buschow et al.) This model can be used to compare in vivo levels of interferon gamma in mice to demonstrate the sensitivity of in vivo bioluminescent imaging. Since the described transgenic Lox-Tag Luc mice  contain also the Chloramphinicol-Transferase (CAT)  gene within the stop cassette, it could  be also possible to analyse gene expression using CAT assays.
